Donation Wish List
Thank you for supporting the Valley Presbyterian Hospital’s Pediatric department with an in-kind gift donation that can be used in our playroom, at a patient’s bedside, in our waiting rooms, or as gifts for birthdays, holidays, or other special occasions. We accept toys that help keep our patients entertained and engaged while in the hospital.
Please note: Due to infection control guidelines and for the well-being of our patients, all donations must be newly purchased items. Stuffed animals are accepted only with tags attached. Donors are not allowed to distribute donations directly to patients or visit patient care areas. Our wish list and information on how to donate is below.
Our Wish List
Infant, toddler, and preschool:
- Crib Toys - mobiles, mirrors, busy boxes
- Tethers and rattles
- Little People / Weeble People
- Musical Toys (with buttons, knobs, light up, etc.)
- Shape sorters and stacking toys
- Sippy cups
- New onesies (all sizes)
- Preschool medical kits
- Pretend play items
School Age:
- Action figures (Batman, Superman, Dora, Sponge Bob, My Little Pony, etc.)
- Barbie dolls and small dolls
- Beads and jewelry making kits
- Coloring books, paint by numbers, sticker by number
- Craft sets and stickers
- I Spy books / Look n' Find books
- Light-up wands / Light and spin toys
- Matchbox and Hotwheel cars (small size cars)
- Playdoh / Model magic-all colors
- Playing cards and Uno cards
- Puzzles with 24, 63 and 100 pieces
- Markers and crayons (8, 16 and 24-pack)
- Board games
- Water bottles
Teenagers:
- Manicure kits with nail polish, polish remover, files, etc. are especially useful for our girls who are in the hospital for extended periods of time
- Intricate craft kits and wooden items to paint birdhouses, small boxes, trinket boxes, etc. (from stores such as Michael's)
- Model kits (snap-together cars, airplanes, etc.)
- iPads, tablets, fidget cubes
- Brushes, hair ties
- Sports equipment (basketballs, footballs, soccer balls, etc.)
Other:
- Craft supplies such as beads, crayons, markers, coloring books, poster board, glue, paint-by-numbers, fuzzy art posters, coloring books, needlepoint, seasonal crafts, and scissors
