Lila Cheney
Director, Perioperative Services
Lila Cheney grew up in Walla Walla, Washington. She took her pre-nursing at Walla Walla University then moved to Glendale, California where she completed a hospital diploma RN program from Glendale Adventist Hospital and obtained her Californian RN licensure. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1997 and a Master of Business Administration in 2003 from the University of Phoenix. She maintains certification in the operating room (CNOR). Lila has spent her entire nursing career shining a bright procedural light on what goes on behind the OR doors- to bring awareness of the hospital staff, community and most importantly, the patients she serves. As a veteran Perioperative Services Director, she is most proud of the countless lives she has helped save and change by ensuring every detail necessary to orchestrate a successful surgery or procedure is addressed to prevent infection, complications and promote the best outcome for each patient.
