The health of you and your baby is vital to a successful pregnancy, and
we want to help you feel confident and relaxed as your delivery approaches.
We recommend taking these free classes before the seventh month of pregnancy
to ensure that you are ready for your baby's birth. During two consecutive
Saturdays, our Certified Childbirth Educator will teach you and your spouse
or partner the latest breathing and movement exercises to provide comfort
during your labor and delivery. She will also answer any questions you
may have about the changes to your body during the last trimester and
what to expect when you have your baby.
Special instructions: This class is for English-speaking adults, recommended for expecting mothers
and her spouse or partner. (Your support person does not need to enroll
separately.) Please arrive 10-15 minutes before the class starts to verify
registration. Bring two pillows and a blanket, and wear comfortable clothing.
Valet parking is available and validation provided (enter on Vanowen Street.)
PLEASE NOTE: Due to Covid-19 protocols, this class is limited to 5 couples,
with social distancing. Screenings and temperature monitoring are at the
hospital entrance, and a mask will be provided.
