Interim Vice President & Chief Nursing Officer

Tamre Del Valle was appointed Interim Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer in August 2025. With over two decades of progressive nursing leadership, she brings a deep commitment to evidence-based care, operational excellence, and community-focused healthcare delivery. Prior to this role, she served as the Director of Critical Care Services at Valley Presbyterian Hospital, where she has led multidisciplinary teams and clinical operations since 2014.

As Interim Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer, Ms. Del Valle oversees nursing operations and provides strategic leadership across all clinical nursing departments.

Before joining Valley Presbyterian Hospital, Ms. Del Valle held key leadership roles at Community Hospital of San Bernardino, where she served as Clinical Manager of Emergency Services. In that capacity, she directed high-volume operations and led impactful initiatives such as emergency department expansion, patient flow redesign, and the implementation of sepsis protocols. Her earlier experience includes serving as a charge nurse and staff nurse in emergency and critical care settings throughout Southern California, where she developed a strong foundation in frontline patient care and clinical leadership.

Ms. Del Valle holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Capella University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from California State University, Fullerton, and an Associate Degree in Nursing from Riverside Community College. She is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Crisis Prevention Intervention, among others. Her professional affiliations include the American Heart Association, Association of California Nurse Leaders, and the National Association of Hispanic Nurses.
