Liza Martinez

Interim Vice President, Quality
Liza Martinez was appointed Interim Vice President of Quality in August 2025. She brings over two decades of progressive nursing leadership and clinical expertise to the organization.
Prior to joining Valley Presbyterian Hospital, Ms. Martinez served as Chief Nursing Officer and Risk Manager at Chino Valley Medical Center, where she led transformative initiatives in patient care, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.
As Interim Vice President of Quality, Ms. Martinez focuses on advancing clinical excellence, improving patient outcomes, and fostering a culture of safety and accountability across the hospital by implementing the systematic review of policies, processes and practices designed to ensure and continuously improve the quality and safety of patient care.
Ms. Martinez holds a master’s degree in business administration and master’s degree in health administration from Grantham University, a bachelor’s degree in nursing from University of Phoenix, and an associate degree in nursing from Santa Ana College. She is also a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant through California State University, Long Beach.
