Advanced Care for Chronic Wounds

Chronic wounds may be caused by a wide range of conditions. Particularly, wounds of the foot can be a serious complication of diabetes, and our team helps at-risk diabetic patients control and manage their wounds. Diabetes often leads to poor circulation and nerve damage (neuropathy), which can lead to a wide range of foot problems, including foot ulcers and wounds that refuse to heal. Left untreated, these wounds can cause severe infections and may even result in amputation. Together with the experts of our related Center for Wound Healing, the Wound & Hyperbaric Center team offers a complete range of individualized patient education and treatment plans designed to help diabetic patients overcome their long-term foot problems.
