Benyta Babasi Maradkel

Benyta Maradkel is an Assyrian from Iran. She first obtained a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) degree from Iran in 2000. She then graduated in December 2009 with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Azusa Pacific University (APU). After many years in practice and being a charge nurse, Benyta decided to pursue her desire to become a leader in the nursing profession. She enrolled at Chamberlain College of Nursing and graduated with her Master of Science in Nursing in executive leadership in 2019. She is very passionate about evidence-based practice (EBP). Benyta holds the EBP-C credential through the Helene Fuld Health Trust National Institute for Evidence-based Practice in Nursing and Healthcare. Her most significant professional accomplishment was the acceptance of her EBP poster for an early mobility project that she implemented in a previous organization.
