Join the Pursuit of Higher Quality and Safety Standards
Message from the Interim Chief Nursing Officer
At Valley Presbyterian Hospital (VPH), our mission to improve the health of the San Fernando Valley. To achieve this, everyone in our organization must be in a tireless pursuit of higher standards of quality and safety. As leaders in patient care, nurses at VPH feel this responsibility deeply. When looking for a hospital to pursue career goals in nursing, consider the unique combination of opportunities offered at VPH.
We believe that evidence-based practice is the best way to improve patient care. An important part of our quality and safety improvement journey came with the successful formation of a professional practice councilor structure. This multi-council structure focuses on our shared desire to better patient outcomes. To do so, we address concerns and share new ideas, ensuring that all employees have a voice.
VPH nurses are vital to our mission. Whether through their patient care, collaborative spirit, or consideration of the community they serve, our nurses are integral to ensuring the health and safety of our patients and their families. Together, we meet the diverse healthcare needs of the San Fernando Valley through presence, practice, and outreach, both within the walls of VPH and beyond.
