Partner in Change: Building an Even Greater Capacity for Care.
Adding 14,505 square feet of space will create room for 10 additional treatment beds and allow our physicians to treat more patients with greater effectiveness. At an average 4 to 5 patients per day, per bed, that adds up to more than 18,000 over the course of a year.
As Dr. Ostick explains, this extra bed capacity will also shorten the amount of time patients have to wait for treatment.
"Our goal is to see patients as soon as they arrive at our Emergency Department. We want to immediately escort our patients from the triage area to a bed. Having additional space enables us to treat more patients, faster."
