Our Services

Orthopaedic Surgeons. Orthopaedic Pioneers.

Valley Presbyterian Hospital is recognized by Blue Cross Blue Shield as a Blue Distinction Center for Knee and Hip Replacement Surgery. We are recognized for our expertise in delivering a higher quality of hip and knee surgery, with a higher level of efficiency in delivering care, resulting in better patient outcomes compared to other institutions.

At the Valley Hip and Knee Institute, we specialize in the latest joint replacement techniques and minimally invasive procedures, helping you to regain your mobility and resume the activities you love.

Our nationally recognized, board-certified orthopaedic surgeons — Herbert D. Huddleston, MD, Medical Director, and Erik N. Zeegen, MD, Associate Medical Director — have more than 40 years of combined experience and have successfully completed more than 15,000 hip and knee procedures.

From minimally invasive procedures, such as hip resurfacing, to full hip and knee joint replacements, our orthopaedic specialists are skilled in the latest surgical techniques, enabling you to quickly get back on your feet.

In addition to our orthopaedic surgeons, the care team at the Valley Hip & Knee Institute includes physician assistants, medical assistants, x-ray technicians, surgery schedulers, and receptionists — each with specialized training and expertise. Our goal is to provide you with expert, comprehensive, and compassionate care. Together, the members of our care team will help you every step of the way through your diagnosis and treatment. We want to assist you with all of your questions and concerns.
