Highly skilled physicians represent a broad range of clinical practice areas and sub specialties, including:

  • Pediatric Infectious Disease
  • Pediatric Gastroenterology
  • Pediatric Neurology
  • Pediatric Orthopedics
  • Pediatric Surgery

Helping Children to Heal

Our PMC designated PICU is designed to meet the medical and emotional needs of children. Patient rooms in these units feature a child-friendly theme, as well as a plasma television and recliner for parents who wish to remain at their child's bedside. A playroom is stocked with books, easels, puzzles, board games, and video games, allowing children in our care to be kids as well as patients.

At Valley Presbyterian Hospital, families play an important role in the emotional and physical recovery of their children. To support this role, physicians and staff strive to make parents and family members feel comfortable and included in their child's care while in our hospital.
