We're Here to Help You
As an expectant mother, you know how important it is to start preparing for your exciting journey of parenthood. We encourage you to begin learning about your pregnancy during your first trimester. To help throughout your journey, our Maternity Services Unit offers free resources and support on a wide range of topics, including:
- Childbirth preparation
- Breastfeeding preparation
- Infant care
Click here for more information about free classes held at Valley Presbyterian Hospital's Health Education Center. Some classes are offered in English and Spanish. Valet parking is available in the parking lot at the front entrance on Vanowen Street. Please plan to arrive at least 10-15 minutes before class to verify registration.
Breastfeeding Support
We believe breastfeeding is the healthiest way for a mother to feed her baby, and recognize the important health benefits known to exist for both the mother and her child. Our highly specialized lactation consultants offer free breastfeeding education training and support, even after your hospital stay.
