Maternal Health

valley press services

Valley Presbyterian Hospital does much more than help women deliver their babies. The staff cares for your entire family together - mother, father, newborn, and any siblings - right from the start. Our nurturing, supportive environment encourages you and your family to share in the miracle of the birth experience, begin bonding during those precious early moments, and feel more confident by learning skills such as diapering or breastfeeding your baby.

Our beautifully appointed rooms are located in the main hospital and in the new pateint tower, which opened in 2004. The bright and airy rooms are designed for the needs of new mothers. VIP rooms are also available on the Maternity Unit for any woman who wants to afford a little extra space for herself and her birthing partners.

If a newborn baby needs extra-special medical care, the 32-bed neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) offers one of the best-equipped medical facilities in the area for critical newborn care.

For your eyes only:New parents may log on to the Baby Board and view pictures that they requested while in the hospital. To log on to the Baby Board, click on BABY.
