Theresa Solis Bito immigrated from the Philippines in 1984 and has since called Los Angeles her home. It is with pride that Theresa has been a registered nurse and part of the healthcare community since 1993. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Phoenix in 2012 and is also a certified wound care nurse (WCC). Her professional successes as a leader have been attributed to the engagement, motivation, and shared ownership of her team members. One, in particular, is the trending reduction of Hospital Acquired Pressure Injuries over the past two years. This could not have been accomplished without the collaborative efforts from her team!
