Anchored by Kambiz Kosari, MD, the Hepatobiliary & Pancreas Center
is comprised of a network of physicians specialists and staff who are
dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients with
disorders of the liver, bile duct and pancreas.
Dr. Kosari joined Valley Presbyterian Hospital in 2012 to create the Hepatobiliary
& Pancreas Center. Board-certified in general surgery, Dr. Kosari
attended the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine,
and completed his residency and surgical fellowships at the University
of Minnesota Medical School in Minneapolis.
Dr. Kosari completed his ASTS multi-organ abdominal transplant fellowship
at the University of California, Los Angeles. Prior to joining VPH, Dr.
Kosari was the Medical Director for HPB Surgical Research at the Virginia
Piper Cancer Institute in Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.
He is actively involved with teaching, research and has been published
in several medical journals and books.
