Our Services

The Electrophysiology (EP) Lab at Valley Presbyterian Hospital specializes in comprehensive electrical studies of the heart and also is used as an auxiliary catheterization lab. Through EP study, our highly specialized physicians are able to test the function of the electrical system in the heart, which can indicate, for example, proper placement of a pacemaker, pacemaker function, the cause of arrhythmias, and many other findings.

The EP Lab offers diagnosis and treatment of heart rhythm disorders such as:

  • Atrial fibrillation
  • Ventricular arrhythmias
  • Supraventricular tachycardias
  • Bradyarrhythmia

Our EP Lab services include:

  • Diagnostic electrophysiology studies
  • Catheter ablations with 3D mapping capabilities
  • Pacemaker implants
  • Cardiac defibrillator implants
  • Cardioversions
  • Electrophysiological studies, such as AV node ablation
