Your health and satisfaction is our priority. To sustain and improve our standard of quality health care and patient satisfaction, we need and depend on your feedback.

As part of our ongoing efforts to provide the best care and service possible, we participate in the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) survey. The HCAHPS survey measures your satisfaction with the quality of your care. It is designed to be a standardized tool for measuring and reporting satisfaction across all hospitals in the United States.

After you are released from the hospital, you may be contacted by Press Ganey, a consulting firm specializing in measuring quality performance, by telephone, mail or e-mail to participate in the HCAHPS survey. The survey asks 27 multiple choice questions about your hospital stay. We ask you to please take a few minutes to complete the patient survey and return it to Press Ganey in the enclosed postage-paid envelope.

What is HCAHPS?

The Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) survey is backed by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The survey is used to improve the quality of health care. HCAHPS makes survey results public so hospitals are aware of areas that need improvement. The results also enable health care consumers to review and compare hospitals before choosing a health care provider.
