VAN NUYS, Calif. — Valley Presbyterian Hospital is pleased to announce the addition of Jeff
Allport to its executive team. Jeffrey Allport was appointed as the hospital's
Vice President and Chief Information Officer in September 2013.
Mr. Allport has held several high level information systems positions before
joining Valley Presbyterian Hospital. Previously, he worked as an independent
information technology consultant through JLA Insights, the health care
information technology company he owns and operates. He also has served
as Vice President of IT Solutions Delivery at St. Joseph Health System
in Orange County, Senior Manager of E-Health Initiatives in the Healthcare
Industry Group of Perot Systems, and CIO of St. John's Medical Center
in Jackson, Wyoming.
As Vice President and Chief Information Officer, Mr. Allport is responsible
for developing, coordinating and facilitating strategic information services
projects, as well as improving and maintaining the operation of the hospital's
