How can I learn more about current vacancies at Valley Presbyterian Hospital, and how do I apply for a job?

Current vacancies are available online at our Career Center . You may create an employment profile and apply for jobs online. In our efforts to "go-green," we have eliminated paper applications.

How can I confirm that my job application was received?

There are two ways to confirm your application was received by our Human Resources department:

1) A confirmation email will be sent to you immediately after you apply online

2) You can log-in to our Career Center and visit your "application history" to view your application submissions.

I don't remember the email or password I used to log-in to the career center. How do I reset it?

You may click on "forgot username or password" to answer your security questions and retrieve your username and password.

How long is the recruitment process? How can I find out the status of my application? Why haven't I heard back?

The recruitment process usually takes 2-3 weeks depending on the availability of the interviewers. You are able to call our Human Resources department at (818) 902-2927 to find out the status of your application, or email us by replying back to the confirmation we sent you. When there is a large pool of applicants we try our best to look through each application.

Will Valley Presbyterian Hospital sponsor my work visa?

Currently, we do not have the capacity to sponsor a work visa but we will update this information if anything changes.

Do you offer a New RN Residency Program?

The New RN Residency Program is offered once or twice a year, depending on the hospital's needs. If the program is offered, vacant position(s) will be posted to our Careers Center.

Do you offer internships/externships? What is the process?

We do not post or offer intern/externships through the Human Resources department. Any type of intern/externship offered at our hospital is conducted through a contracted college/university program. You must go through your college/university and meet specific requirements to participate in an intern/externship at Valley Presbyterian Hospital. These opportunities are in various hospital departments.

What is the process of getting an interview scheduled?
